PTSD & Trauma Counselling
After going through a traumatic experience, it is common to experience a range of overwhelming emotions, unique to each individual, including shock, confusion, fear, anxiety, anger, unsafe and hopelessness.
This is particularly normal during the time immediately following the traumatic event. Trauma can also occur from being exposed to a number of smaller events over a longer period of time.

Trauma can be in the form of physical abuse, sexual assault, natural disasters, or serious accidents. Trauma can result in a range of emotional and psychological symptoms, such as depression, flashbacks, and nightmares.

Counselling can help with trauma by providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to process and work through their experiences.
