Counselling is a professional and therapeutic process that provides emotional and mental health support to individuals who are facing personal challenges or difficulties. As your Counsellor, I help individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors that may be troubling them. The primary goal of counselling is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for the individual to gain insight, develop coping skills, and make positive changes in their life.

Counselling can be used to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, health concerns, financial stress, living with a disability, and grief and loss.

Counselling is talk therapy and typically involves one-on-one sessions between the individual and the counsellor. Counsellors do not diagnose issues, but work with you to improve your mental health, help you understand yourself better and gain new insight into situations and improve your resilience.

I may use a variety of techniques and approaches throughout the counselling process, and together we will identify your goals and define a path forward so you can achieve them.
